On today’s episode of H2OMG, we talk with Gilbert Smith, a Customer Service Supervisor at the Fort Worth Public Library all about the GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE, Waterworld.
All the movies we cover on Drippy’s Drive-In episodes of H2OMG have a lot of water in them, but I don’t think it’s crazy to say that this one has the most. It’s going to be hard to top it anyway.
So sit back, relax, grab your harpoon, and take a trip back in time with us to 1995, a time of Virtual Boys, Nickelodeon’s Gak, and a time when Kevin Costner ruled the airwaves and the sea waves!

The TakeBack Meds program is a safe, convenient, and legal way to get rid of unwanted or expired medications. All the locations listed below will be set up on October 24th, 2020 to receive your unwanted/expired medications from 10am to 2pm.

On today’s episode of H2OMG, we talk with Rita Alfaro, a music librarian at the Fort Worth Public Library all about water music. And if you thought I could go a whole episode without mentioning Creedence Clearwater Revival, boy were you wrong!
Rita and I discuss the unique job of a music librarian and all the awesome (and virtual) events happening all the time at the Fort Worth Public Library. If you don’t follow them on Facebook already, you really should. Just search Fort Worth Public Library and check out their events section. We discuss Rita’s music and book club Off the Record: Spinster reads which takes place every other monday.
The library even has a virtual Dungeons & Dragons game going on so if you listened to our water conservation-based D&D adventure with Drippy the Water Wizard and want to participate in an adventure of your own, you can do that with the library! I’ll put all these links in the show notes for anyone interested.
We also discuss our shared love of professional wrestling. I want to give another shout-out to friend-of-the-show, and my personal hero, Asuka, the Empress of Tomorrow who wrestles with WWE. She has an H2OMG t-shirt and can even be seen wearing it in some of her YouTube videos. Also shoutout to one of Rita’s favorite wrestlers, Kenny Omega, who doesn’t follow us on Twitter but maybe he will now?
